We’re committed to providing the support you need throughout the application process. From admission requirements to the application checklist and important dates and deadlines, you’ll find instructions and considerations tailored to your unique circumstances. We also offer guidance regarding your options for finding financial assistance.
If you choose to attend WCU, you’ll find resources to help you excel in your classes and connect with your fellow students:
- International Student Association—Share your culture and learn about students from around the world through educational, social, and recreational programs.
- International Student Advisers—You'll have an adviser to help you adjust to life on campus. You'll also have an academic adviser.
- International Student Orientation—This is your formal introduction to important people and services around campus. It’s also a great way to meet new students.
- The Student Exchange Visitor Information System—Every U.S. institution admitting international students must use this system to generate and issue the visa documents needed to enter and study in the United States.
NOTE: WCU requires all international students to have health insurance. Beginning Fall 2008 all international students will be required to purchase the university supported plan. For more information on international programs and services, please contact Kevin Childers at 828-227-3455 or email him at kchilders@email.wcu.edu.
