Swim Programs

Join us for the Fall Swim Youth Refresher! This swim program is for all ages: Minnow Level (6 months to 3 Years), Fish Level (3 years to 5 years), Shark Level (Ages 6 and up). All swim programs are led by instructor Michael Creason, a retired assistant professor in the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation at WCU.

Thank you to all who were apart of the first ever Trombone Quartet Summer Seminar at Western Carolina University from June 11-16, 2017. We hope to see you next Summer during this seminar that will be open to all high school and undergraduate trombonists, your days will be filled with performances, private lessons, jazz and contemporary techniques as well as focused courses on refining techniques.

 Rocket to Creativity Camp

We want to thank those who attended the 16th annual Rocket to Creativity camp! We hope to see you in Summer 2018! Rocket to Creativity will engage children in fun but challenging activities that promote creative thinking and problem-solving. Children will be working in small groups with a ratio 1:4, providing a personalized creative experience for each child.

Back in Time Camp

We enjoyed having your young explorers who attended the 2017 session. We hope to see them again in Summer 2018! Take a step back in time as we explore mountain life from long ago! From candle making to beekeeping, quilting to traditional farming, writing with quill pens to using old time slates, kids ages 9-11 will experience life from a different perspective.
