Dr. Solomon earned his M.A. in psychology at Western Carolina University in 2012 after receiving his undergraduate degrees in Psychology and German at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2008. He completed his doctoral work at Central Michigan University and his predoctoral internship at the Charleston Consortium through the Medical University of South Carolina and the Ralph H. Johnson V.A. Hospital in 2017.
Dr. Solomon teaches courses in research methods, multicultural psychology, prejudice, psychological assessment, and psychotherapy.
Dr. Solomon has two lines of research. The first relates to interpersonal trauma (e.g., child maltreatment, relationship violence) and the second relates to LGBTQ+ issues.
