The Management Program at Western Carolina University is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required for successful professional careers in an ever-changing world of work. Our graduates pursue careers in manufacturing, human resources, banking, retailing, healthcare, not-for-profit organizations, insurance, real estate, and a host of other professions.
The study of Economics is excellent preparation for a wide variety of careers--banking, economic analysis, regional development, business economics, governmental economics, consulting, and graduate study in economics, accounting, business, law, finance and many other areas.
At the graduate level, the department offers an online Master of Project Management (MPM) Program designed for you, the working professional who wants to advance your career. This program offers full-time project managers the opportunity to pursue a master's degree on a part-time basis and also offers a graduate certificate in project management. The MPM program is accredited by the Project Management Institute.

Management: The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) degree in Management prepares students for successful careers in business leadership through hands-on training. We also offer a minor in Management.
Economics: The Bachelor of Science degree in Economic Analysis equips students with analytical and research skills and critical thinking and writing ability. We also offer a minor in Economics.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program: Our MBA curriculum was designed in collaboration with employers in western North Carolina, WCU College of Business faculty, and recent MBA graduates.
