We've established ourselves as a national leader in undergraduate research and our students have driven us there. They are passionate about their projects and the annual Undergraduate Research Expo features over 200 student presenters working with more than 60 faculty sponsors. 

Our Graduate Research solves real-world problems, increases knowledge, inspires other students, and adds to the quality of life. It is ever evolving and can take many forms and the depth of our students drive to push the boundaries is never-ending. Learn what graduate research is like at WCU.

We foster and advance research at WCU while keeping our community, region, and university in mind by helping faculty, staff, and graduate students find funding opportunities, develop fundable research and programs, prepare and submit proposals and manage grant awards.
